Lanark Village is located in Kitchener, a city in Southern Ontario. Kitchener is roughly about 100km west of Toronto. This town features many recreational programs and services geared towards seniors. There is a local woodworking and crafts centre, a golf course, several historic sites, museums and art galleries to explore. You will find there are also many volunteer programs in place to give back to the community. This vibrant town has many outdoor trails and parks to take a leisurely stroll and immerse yourself in nature. With so much going on, the hardest decision will be to choose what to do first.

Lanark Village is here to welcome you with our team of friendly, expert staff. Here you will have the independence and flexibility to choose how you want to organize your home life. There is an in-house spa, regular lectures and exercising classes to take care of your mental, emotional and physical well-being. We strive to provide a well integrated and inclusive environment for our residents.

  • Our experience thus far

    This review is based off of our time during this facility covid. Everyone here speaks about how good the good is and my mom has not had any complaints. I have no issues with the activities provided, but more so getting the residents to the activities. She needs someone to knock on the door and walk her to the activity and that is partly a staffing issue which is covid related. At the end of the day my mom is safe and well taken care of, they have not had a covid outbreak which is reassuring. The challenge is my mom has specific individual needs and building collaborative communication with the staff has been challenging for me. I would recommend to others looking.

  • Looks like a great place. bright, clean, friendly staff, nice room layout, excellent walking trails and green area, bus service terrible, have to walk out of winding streets to Highland Rd to catch a bus, however, they have a shuttle bus (holds only 12) this can be used to shop or drive to appointments etc.
