Is the WPN&RC An Acceptable Place For Me
The WPN&RC andmitted our church mother as a resident on [date removed]. I stopped by to visit on [date removed]. At the lobby entrance 2 female residents politely greeted me. I asked if there was a receptionist available to assist with locating a resident. "Nobody up here, just walk through and look in the rooms to see if you can find them " they replied. So I signed the registry and walked to the left. As I turned the corner to a 2nd hall I met the 1st staff member who informed me that mother was on the other side of the building. I got the room number, retraced my steps thru the lobby, & located Mother lying flat on her back, She explained she was told to stay in that position until the nurse returned. After an hour, at 8:00 mother pressed the call button. At 8:50 pm & still no nurse I said goodnight & left her room. Unable to exit the locked lobby door I phoned for help. "I'll send someone to open it", a voice said. After a 2nd call at 9:14, the door was finally opened at 9:21pm. ????

Frequently Asked Questions
about Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center

A Place for Mom has scored Wilson Pines Nursing and Rehabilitation Center 2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
